I don't get this

I read about this cat paw thing on Snarky Malarky. I love Snarky Malarky. I think I've said that before. Anyways...what's with the cat paw thing? It's funny, that's the truth but what does it mean?! Do I not get it because I'm not Japanese? There's more about the cat paw at Akihabara News and of course on the company website Bandai. Attack cat paw! Get one before they're all gone!

Cat looking at birds

We saw this cat (right) in a tree outside of our living room window the other night. It was looking at a bunch of birds in the tree next to it. Pictures are through a window so excuse the reflections.
