Stroller!
We finally got a stroller...not that we have the baby yet. It seemed to be an important purchase. We got the last Zooper Waltz floor model from 2007 at the Baby Furniture Warehouse (hence the pink), but we got a deal.

Waxing Heaven
I never thought I'd be writing about getting waxed but here I go...I've lived in Boston for about 7 years and in that time, I've been on a seemingly fruitless search for a great waxer. Coming from NY, I had an excellent esthetician whom I loved (she even came to my wedding) and who was hard to replace. This weekend, I found her match (FINALLY)! I read about Bella Day Spa on Yelp and had to give it a try. Trina, who everyone on Yelp raves about, did the job. She was amazing. It was as painless as could be. I highly, highly, highly recommend Bella Day Spa in Newton if you are looking for a great waxing job. This is not only for the ladies, they do men as well (for those of you with hairy backs etc...).

Funny race related sites
Thanks to Jeff and Matt for pointing out two very funny websites. Black People Love Us!, is about Sally and Johnny and how much black people love them, and Stuff White People Like is a funny (and surprisingly apt) list of things white people like. I can say it's apt, b/c I'm white, so I can speak for the race. Anyway, thanks Matt and Jeff, I love to laugh.

Bird, Deer...Bunny!
A friend from Brooklyn recently said how sick she was of seeing birds and deer everywhere. I know what she means, where did this trend start? Were graphic and interior designers taking to the woods this year? My prediction for the next trend is bunnies.
I just called my vet to get my cat's limited diet food of rabbit and peas and wouldn't you know, they're back ordered until March. We had to settle for venison (which is basically deer).

overheard
I was in a Destination Maternity dressing room when I overheard a conversation between a pregnant woman (pg) and her friend (fr).
pg: Do I look pregnant in this?
fr: Weeeellll...on a scale of 1-10 I'd say you're a 5. 1 being not looking pregnant at all and 10 being looking totally pregnant.
Personally, I'd rather be a 10 than a 5. A 5 basically means you look like you've been eating a lot more donuts than you probably should. I didn't see her but... Enjoy it lady...this might be the only time in your life when people tell you that you're "tiny" or that you look fabulous and amazing. Pregnancy allows you to basically let it all hang out, and continue to happily eat Oreos and ice cream.

Super 88 is Super
I love Asian candies. Luckily (or maybe not so luckily) I work near a Super 88, where I can find all of my favorites. Coris Japanese Ramune Soda Whistle Candy, hold between your teeth and blow, Glico chocolate Pocky, Marukawa Japanese bubble gum, White Rabbit Candy, Botan Japanese Rice Candy (these are my favorites), they used to come with a small plastic toy in the box but now it's usually a sticker, which doesn't excite me as much as it would have when I was in 5th grade.
Then I found this gum, The Original B2up Breast Enhancement Gum From Japan: "B2up gum contains 100% natural pueraria mirifica which effectively increases bust size by up to 80%. In addition, it has been shown to make breasts firmer, improve skin complexion, hair sheen, and freshen breath. The gum is sugarless, and tastes absolutely delicious! It can be taken up to three times a day and results are typically seen within 3 to 6 months. Individual results may vary as everyone's physiology differs. For best results, the manufacturer recommends product usage for at least 6 to 12 months" from Amazon all that AND it tastes like roses!
