I saw Decor8's Take 5 Tuesday post and fell in love with Nest Pretty Things. Then I realized that Tamar makes accessories for kids and I was truly smitten.

I started looking fr other kid's accessories and found these great felt barrettes from May Crimson.

Helping the Gulf Coast

Watching what's happening on the Gulf is just sickening. I didn't know what we could do about it and then I saw Etsy's Help the Gulf Coast shop and knew we should add one of our items. Lou and Lee

I saw these headbands on Rebecca Woolf's gorgeous baby Fable on Girl's Gone Child. They're made by Lou and Lee. I think Hazel might need one. I keep trying to put barrettes on her but she's totally on to me and keeps pushing my hands away. She did enjoy watching me put the barrette on her lamb and on her baby doll though. I got her to wear a barrette once....once...and of course, I got a photo!

Before & After Nursery Chair

We got this chair for $5 at a flea market so I didn't feel too bad painting it, even though the unpainted wood was beautiful. The chair was just sitting in our living room serving no real purpose. Now it sits in the baby's room, as extra seating. I think the results were well worth it. Left is before, right is after. The elephant was a shower gift and was made by SewCuties.

Bird, Deer...Bunny!

A friend from Brooklyn recently said how sick she was of seeing birds and deer everywhere. I know what she means, where did this trend start? Were graphic and interior designers taking to the woods this year? My prediction for the next trend is bunnies.

I just called my vet to get my cat's limited diet food of rabbit and peas and wouldn't you know, they're back ordered until March. We had to settle for venison (which is basically deer).
