I know it's just a restaurant, but it's SO good. This trip we visited NW Portland's Typhoon! as well as Seattle's location. Both were excellent. My favorite dish, that I haven't been able to find in any other restaurants is called Miang Kum. It includes toasted coconut, shallot, ginger, lime, peanut, dried shrimp and Thai chili and add a sauce (who's recipe is what keeps me from being able to recreate this at home). Wrap it all in a spinach leaf and eat it in one bite. It's seriously an explosion of flavors.
